1961 Began studying Classical Piano.
1965 Began studying trap drumming with William Kessler.
1967 Began teaching privately at age 11 at Manna House Workshops.
1969-98 Taught Ensembles including Deep Rich Full&Mellow at Manna House, Woody Productions, New School, Berklee. Taught children and adults.
1968 Studied Ear Training, Piano and Theory at the David Mannes School.
1970 Studied privately with Cholli Simons.
1971 Studied at Manhattan School of Music prep. dept.: Piano, Percussion, Theory and Ear Training.
1973 Graduated from Dalton High School.
1973 Was accepted to the Composition Degree program at Berklee College of Music. Studied drums with Alan Dawson, Gary Chafee, Joe Hunt.
1975 Studied Theory and Solfege with Nadia Boulanger at Fontainebleau.
1976 Graduation ceremony Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music.
